Physics Test 3

We will see how well this works. My bet is "not very."
The plan is to update this every hour or so to see how long I am up. I will give you the rundown of the previous hour's events. This might be interesting.

2:42-

Went to go get some highlighters so I can distinguish when voltage is emf or just potential. Working on physics. Awesome2 Also had to open the html edit of an old post because I can never remember the command to make an exponent.
3:30-
I have learned that despite the fact that it has been well publicized in my PHSCS 220 class that there will be a lot of "Which light bulb will be brighter?" questions on the test, there is virtually no information about them in the book.
4:44-
Decided to try to eat something. Nothing has really stayed down for over a day now. I chose to eat combos, and promptly offered Dwill some over Facebook. I am working on RC circuits as of right now, and I have officially forsaken the night's sleep. At this point I would be more tired when I get up than if I just stay awake.
5:15-
This is the last update of this post because, well, frankly I have grown tired of this. I'm tired.

There are >12 Cylon Models.

So, it is Sunday afternoon and I need to start studying physics and math. Why? Because I have a few tests this week. It seems as though all my classes like to correlate when they give us tests.

Dave got a Mr. Jass television. It is quite nice to sit down and watch Dahl's sequel to the BFG. Speaking of which (Derek, cease reading here unless you've seen it), Daniel (#7) could be one of the following people:

  • Starbuck
  • Baltar
  • Somebody else
I will go as far to guarantee he is one of those.

Yesterday was Valentines Day. I watched Jurassic Park. Not usually what people think to watch on Valentines.

In the hunt for pictures or things to post. I found this from the mission. Owens had some mittens that got a make over. This is what they looked like after Nina got a hold of them.

Here's to the Night.

It is Monday night, which means that I am frantically trying to get my physics homework done so that I can submit it by midnight. See? Can you tell how frantic I am? Right now we are working on resistivity, which is actually pretty interesting. It reminds me of this XKCD
Here is something that bothers me: when a question is labeled (for example) "Number 12," but then it has 12a, 12b, 12c and so on in that fashion. It makes it so when you look at your homework, you say "Hey, I only have 5 problems for my homework. That's pretty nice." and later find out you actually have 27, well, it just ruins your whole day.

Derek, check your spelling on your blog posts. Especially in the title. The red, squiggly underline doesn't mean "cool word."

9.81 m/s2

Record time today for a math test. 1.76 hours. Now, if you can't sleep very well at night, you should know that 76% of an hour is 45 minutes and 36 seconds. This was exceptionally quick considering that most of them took upwards 3 hours last semester.

I have another test on Thursday. It is in my manufacturing class. It will be either A) unreasonably easy, or B) viciously hard. I'll keep you all posted so that you know. I am going to study for it today so that tomorrow I can spend the majority of the day in the CAD lab. Fun stuff.

Last Friday we went out to a huge hole in the middle of nowhere. We proceeded to hurl flaming pieces of garbage down the shaft. The sad part of the whole thing was the fact that I was generally more interested in timing the fall and calculating the depth of the shaft than just tossing stuff down.

Saturday consisted of going to Hillier's sister's wedding. I drank some sort of green drink in aspiration of being a billionaire super-hero one day.

Fact: Billionaire super-heroes drink green beverages.
Proof:
I'm going to get back to homework now.

Racism isn't funny.

I was thoroughly impressed by Joseph Lowery's inaugural prayer and thought that everybody would like to know what the original text of the prayer was. If you didn't see it, you can see it here.

"We ask you to help us work for that day
When black will not be asked to give back,
Where brown can stick around,
When yellow will be mellow,
When the red man can get ahead, man-
And when white will embrace what is right.
When there is a wocket in my pocket,
When there is a noothbrush on my toothbrush,
When there is not one fish, but two fish,
Which are both red fish and blue fish,
I do not like green eggs and ham,
I do not like them Sam I am.
Let all of those who will do justice and love mercy say 'Amen'. AMEN!"

2.6 Exact Differential Equations

I am sitting in math right now, and I am not really paying any attention. Hence the post.

I just spent about 2 hours in the CAD lab working on, get this, sketches. No, not by hand, but getting the computer to do the sketches for me based off the models that I designed. So, we are taking a 3D model, and degrading it to 2D. Way fun. The most important reason for using the 2D model is because Cylon technology can't hack a 2D model and shut it down so they can destroy you.. like they can with the 3D model.

Today is the Presidential Inauguration of Obama. Yesterday was Martin Luther King Jr. day. In about a week and a half we will be in Black History Month. Stennett and I will continue to eat pancakes to celebrate.

I just realized that I accidentally did the assignment already for what the professor is teaching today. What a waste of a weekend.

Oh, and I quit my job yesterday. Tonight is my last night there. Now I will be poor again.

The Cylons Were Created by Man

For it is a holiday weekend, which means the following things.

  1. I will work everyday
  2. I will tell myself that I am going to try to catch up on homework and studying, but won't
  3. Sunday midnight basketball.
Number 3 is rationalized by the fact that it isn't technically the sabbath anymore. It has been a traditions almost every time there has been a Monday holiday.

I really don't have that much to say.
